Man arrested after toilet seat was not put down
The issue of whether a toilet seat should be left up or down, has led to many arguments between men and women.

For one man the toilet seat has caused him to be arrested.

The North Dakota man, who lives in the same residence as his sister, is accused of beating his sister during a fight over “not putting the toilet seat down,” according to police.

Authorities arrested Thaddeus Morgan, 24, on a misdemeanor assault charge and for interfering with an emergency call. The West Fargo man allegedly pushed and punched his sister, Cynthia Morgan, 23, after she "got mad at him for not putting the toilet seat down," police said.

Cynthia Morgan told authorities that the two got into an argument over the toilet seat and her brother hit her. Her pair of eyeglasses broke during the fight.

When she told Thaddeus Morgan that she was calling the police, he took away her phone, which caused him to face an additional charge of interfering with an emergency call. Thaddeus Morgan pleaded not guilty and is scheduled to be back in court on a later date.
