Beyonce and Jay Z’s relationship has reportedly been on the rocks for a while now. And they have been doing everything in their power to reassure the world that they’re strongerthan ever.
That was until Beyonce complicated things somewhat when she appeared to reference allegations her husband has been unfaithful. The singer hinted things might not be picture perfect between her and Jay Z when she performed in Ohio at the weekend. Taking to the stage wearing a flowing wedding gown, the former Destiny’s Child star performed unreleased track Resentment – a song about a woman whose partner cheats on her (scroll down to watch the video). In the song Beyonce went as far as even changing the lyrics sparking speculation among fans the songstress was hinting at her marriage. She swapped “Been riding with you for six years,” to “Been riding with you for 12 years” – coincidentally the length of time she’s been with Jay Z. The 32-year-old – who has daughter Blue Ivy, 2, with the rapper – was cheered by her adoring fans at the Ohio concert at the weekend as she sang the changed lyric. Other parts of the song include: “Look what you’ve done-done to me now, I gotta look at her in her eyes and see she’s had half of me, she ain’t even half of me.” As well as: “I tried and I tried to forget this. But I’m too damn full of resentment. I know she was attractive but I was here first.” The rapper has been dogged with allegations he’s cheated on his wife since shocking CCTV footage emerged last month showing him being attacked by sister-in-law Solange.
